Products
Symfoni Software owns, produces and distributes the Symfoni Suite, existing of collaboration applications which support most business processes. Symfoni represents Europe's biggest IBM software partner, GEDYS, in Norway.

Organisation
The companies in the corporation are: Parent company Symfoni Software AS, Symfoni Software Norge AS (Norway), Symfoni Software ApS (Denmark), Svensk Collaboration Software AB (Sweden) and Gedys Symfoni Nordic AS (Joint Venture with Gedys regarding CRM).

Management of Symfoni Software AS

Tom Adolfsen - Chairman of the board of Symfoni Software AS. Adolfsen was the chief executive of Merkantildata, which changed name to Ementor, for several years. He is one of the most experienced business managers within the IT sector in Scandinavia. Adolfsen is a working chairman in the company.

Bjørn Jarl - CEO. Bjørn came from the position as CEO of Gedys Software Holding OY 1st of September 2004 and has been working for the TJ Group corporation for the last 6 years. Bjørn Jarl has in the past been involved in several companies in the media and market communication sector. Some examples are Info-Media AS which is called Waymaker today and is owned by Observer and TM-Kompetanse AS which became a part of the research company Synovate MMI. Bjørn was also the general manager and founder of Bonniers Internet recruitment company, Jobline, in Norway and is today the owner of Jarl Management which is the principal shareholder of Symfoni Software AS. 

Kåre Morten Sundby - Nordic sales director of Symfoni Software AS. Kåre Morten has years of experience form the IT sector as Sales Manager in Dell, Nordic Business Partner Manager in HP and Sales Manager of TJ Group AS.

Nora Ottesen - Marketing manager of Symfoni Software. Nora has worked in the company for 3 years as responsible for coordinating market and sales activities as well as handling the business partners. She is educated at BI Norwegian School of Management and European University Barcelona, from where she has her bachelor of management degree.

Kjetil Andenæs - Responsible for product development in Symfoni. Kjetil took part in the establishment of Symfoni in 1994 and has later worked for Cinet, Egroup, Item and some years for a customer, Schneider AS. He has always had a close relationship to IBM Software development and participated in a development group of Lotus products where he, amongst others, has written several "red books" for Lotus/IBM.

Mette Velling is the manager of Software Service- and Support center. Mette came from a similar position at ARLA Foods and has also worked several years at Lego within the same field.

Norway:
Trond-Are Utle - Manager of the Norwegian operation, consultant services and support, as well as presale support for the business partners. Trond-Are has been working for the company since 2002. Symfoni evangelist and a part of the blogging community where the definite strongest opinions of the business sector are exchanged. Trond-Are has more than 10 years of experience within the sector as manager and owner of his own consultant company.

Denmark:
Jan Brinck - Manager of Symfoni Software ApS, Denmark. Jan has during the past 20 years worked with sales and business development within the IT sector and has been involved in the Notes/Domino area since the very beginning. Jan has earlier been working in WM-data and latest IT-Companion which merged with Symfoni Software and is now a part of Symfoni Denmark.

Sweden:
Christer Fasth - Manager of Svensk Collaboration Software AB (Symfoni Software Sweden). Christer has more than 20 years of experience from the swedish IT sector, specially within IBM based software. Was earlier manager of TJ Group AB and came to Symfoni 1st of January 2007 from the position as responsible of the Notes Domino Consultant department in Guide AB. 

Customers
Symfoni has about 700 customers and more than 400.000 users in the North. Our customer directory contains Nordic companies, organisations and public companies like Hydro, ABB, Elektrolux, Leaseplan, Kongsberg Maritime, Gilde, Fjord 1, Arla Foods, Coloplast, Bang Olufsen, Danske Trelast AS, Rynkeby, Hydro Texaco, Ringkjøbing Amt, Sandefjord and Tønsberg Kommune, Statens Forvaltningstjeneste, Orkla, Stabburet and Lilleborg. All examples of customers across several different sectors.
